COMMISSIONS the process
Commissions are at the heart of my work. Each piece is created slowly and intentionally, in my studio, using reference photographs provided by you, to produce a painting that feels honest, timeless and real. I work with a limited number of clients at a time, taking care to translate real people into art in a way that feels respectful, considered and beautifully human.
Whether you’re marking a milestone, gifting something meaningful, or investing in a piece just for you, commissioning an artwork is a collaborative process built on trust, care and connection.

Get in touch with a brief idea of what you’re looking for, including size, style & framing.

booking & deposit
A 50% deposit secures your commission slot and place in my schedule.

reference photo​​s
Once booked, you’ll send over a small selection of reference photos via a secure link. These don’t need to be perfect, I’ll guide you on what works best.​
​
creation
After sending over some initial sketches so we can agree on composition, I create your artwork in my studio, working intuitively from your reference images.

progress update
You’ll receive progress updates throughout the process to ensure you end up with a piece that you love 100%.

completion & approval
Once finished, I’ll share the final piece with you for approval.

delivery
Your artwork is carefully packaged and delivered to your door, ready to hang and enjoy.

important notes
International delivery is available • Commissions are limited to 2 per month • Turnaround time is usually 4-6 weeks from receipt of reference images • All artworks are final sale due to the personal nature of commissions • Deposit is non refundable and remaining balance is due upon completion.
