There’s Gold in Every Piece of Your Story

In a world where perfection is often idealised, it can be hard to embrace the beauty of imperfections. But I believe it’s those imperfections—the so-called "flaws"—that make us truly unique and beautiful. This philosophy lies at the heart of my artwork, especially in the signature gold leaf detail that runs through my figurative pieces.
The gold leaf isn’t just aan artistic choice; it’s a symbol. It represents resilience, growth, and the beauty that emerges from life’s challenges. Inspired by the Japanese art of kintsugi, where broken pottery is repaired with gold to highlight its cracks rather than hide them, my work aims to celebrate the stories and struggles that shape us. Each line of gold tells a story—a moment of triumph, a scar that’s healed, or a journey of self-love.

When I create a piece, I think about the lives it will touch. My goal is for someone to look at the art and see themselves, their journey, and their worth reflected in it. I want every piece to remind you that you are beautiful, just as you are, and that there is gold in every part of your story.
